I did it! I finally put it out there that I wanted an intern and voila! Kenna contacted me after hearing about my post on Facebook through her mom, who dates my neighbor, Chuck Gamber of Jack of Arts. Those of you that know me know that I am a perfectionist and letting go of control is a huge hurdle for me. After writing about changing up how I do business, I realized I need to put my words into action and decided to post on Facebook about my need for an intern.
Kenna is a graduate of Towson University, my alma mater, with a degree in Photography. She even had one of my professors, Haig Janian! Kenna is also a former gymnast and coaches in Owings Mills. She has been a huge help in the few weeks she’s been here. I put her to work on her first day painting a phrase on a bulkhead in the Narrows Restaurant on Kent Island. She’s also helped me on an installation for Hobson Financial in Annapolis.
Hopefully in the weeks and months to come, I’ll be able to offer more to Kenna but in the meantime I am thankful for her help and so glad she is here. Here are the finished pictures from Hobson Financial.
